Not very long ago, I purchased a slew of storage-ware at a local big box store. In my defence, I can only say that I didn't know where to find a Tupperware Lady, and I needed to make pre-prepared microwavable meals for my mother who was preparing to come home from heart surgery. I decided that cheap and disposable would be better than nothing at all. Boy was I wrong! Most of them are now broken, warped, stained, or all three.

To make a long story short, my mother recovered nicely from her surgery, and I've put most of the salvagable storage-ware to new use in gardening (something they are better suited for until they fall apart from excessive sun exposure in a couple of months), and I've been soothing my wounded frugal nature by buying Tupperware, products I can trust.

Second-rate storage "solutions" aren't something anyone should inflict on their kitchen. It's not the kind of expensive mistake you make twice.

Now that I've found Tupperware, I'm never letting go!
